Coherent Systems has undertaken many bespoke amplifier/digital to analogue converters/Streaming/power supply conversions using different brand combinations over a wide range of audio sound quality. Performance goals dependant on the customer requests or our recommendation.

Visited Tony for the 1st time yesterday, collected a refurb kit for my Mk 1B Oracle turntable.What a guy, spent the next 2 hrs mesmerised, his TAD system was incredible.If you want “Hi Fi” go somewhere else, if you want True Music Reproduction go and see Tony10/10( If you like Cars, as I do, plan at least 4hrs.

Recently had a Bel Canto integrated amplifier repaired. The service offered was absolutely first class, from collection to return. The repair was completed at a cost effective price, restoring a much loved piece of equipment to its former glory. Communication throughout the repair process was excellent. Highly rated.

Tony quickly diagnosed and restored my poorly Bel Canto e1x back to health. Whilst the integrated amp was with Tony, we discussed some improvements that could also be made. Without any pressure, I decided to take up the opportunity for a number of upgrades to be made. Well - wow! The performance has been elevated to new heights, whilst retaining the bel canto signature sound I love. So much more depth and texture that I didn’t know was present on familiar recordings - great value for a repair and the cherry on top is the leap forward in performance! Super pleased!

I had noticed a fault with my aging pre-amp and was pointed towards Coherent Systems for it to be repaired. Wow what a journey that turned out to be and thank god I’d used them for the work. Initially worn out components were sourced and replaced but on testing other more serious issues were found. Replacement components couldn’t be found so a work around was developed to cure the problem. I was kept in the loop while this work was being undertaken and eventually I received a working and I would say improved pre-amp back. I’m now running it in and enjoying this beautiful experience. Thanks to Tony and the team for their perseverance and dedication to give me many more hours of musical pleasure.

My 15 year old Cambridge audio CD player suddenly stopped working, no music output. Tony quoted me a 1 hour diagnostic price, which was not enough time to find the faultHe quoted me a further price to mend it which I approved, so he went ahead. The player now works perfectly and the cost was pretty much as he quoted (it took a little over the 2hrs he quoted but didn't charge any more). At each stage he updated me with video clips of his investigative work, which was helpful and demonstrated the amount of work he did. The problem was an output relay which was not a costly part, but took a while to trace.I would absolutely recommend Coherent Systems to anyone with hi-fi problems, they are superb. Thanks Tony.

I was ready to sell by Lumley ST70 as every tech that looked at it failed to figure out why it was not playing ball. I lucking found Tony and he offered to investigate and I am glad he did. I have just had it back after he meticulously went through everything finding so many micro issues that others failed to spot.This amp is now less than a day in and it is sounding amazing. Tony I cannot thank you enough for taking the time not only with the amp but with me and the gracious way you have shared your knowledge. You have kept me informed every step of the way and it has been a pleasure to deal with you.I highly recommend Tony and his team, they have worked a miracle for me and I am immensely grateful.

I have had a passion for playing recorded music at home for 30 years. Sometimes you just know that your system needs a tweek or an upgrade but going to high-end hifi stores doesn’t help, as you can’t hear the benefit of the equipment that they are selling, in your own system.Coherent Systems are different, they come to your home and listen. They advise, and let you try out their recommendations for a week or two.Tony spent hours with me on several visits. He demonstrated how a person with a wealth of knowledge can also respect that listening to music is ultimately a matter of personal hearing, taste and budget. It’s obvious that Tony cares that the customer will get more enjoyment from music once he has left.I wish I had discovered Coherent Systems a long time ago!

This is my first time purchasing from Coherent Systems (I'm from the States) and I had an amazing customer service experience dealing with Tony. He was very professional, answered all inquiries about my purchase, and guided me through the payment process and shipping since this is my first purchase from the UK. He updated me on the receipt of payment, with plenty of pictures of the packaging even the courier pickup. I was surprised at the speed of delivery of package receiving it within a week of payment. I'm impressed at how well the electronics is professional packaged with plenty of cardboard and foam peanuts. Everything came even better than described, the "pre-owned" condition are more like new - open box. Overall, I had a very positive experience as a whole with Tony @ Coherent Systems and would not hesitate to consider future purchases and highly recommend this company.
