MC Audio
MC Audio is the brand name for Coherent Systems cabling have been designed, tested and manufactured by ourselves for over 20 very successful years. All of Coherent Systems cables are hand crafted and assembled from dedicated drawn base raw materials, specially manufactured dielectrics, bespoke screening etc. Nothing is produced from an ‘off the reel’ style cabling manufacture process in any way. Each cable is manufactured to an extremely high standard; great care is taken through every stage of the process, from raw material selection to final material treatment and burn in and packaging. We pride ourselves in producing some of best available cables anywhere today.
Now introducing MC Audio products, over the eighteen years we have been trading from time to time we have found the space in the work schedules to perform a spot of R&D in a few subjects that we are quite close to in a previous work life. Part of the MC Audio portfolio is dedicated to low voltage DC cabling we have actually produced LVC since we starting trading, in fact Trichord Research Dino’s and Delphini phono stages used Omiga Audio manufactured cabling for their first reference dc umbilical power leads back in 2004.
So now we have a full range of Low Voltage Cabling for all applications and styles, custom designs by request, we are happy to accommodate pretty much most ideas and schematics.
Another area Coherent Systems have great deal of experience with is RF (radio frequency) identification, harvesting and control with both conducted (cable and transmission line) plus radiated emissions from the equipment boxes. A great deal of research and investigations into sub 30Mhz frequencies particularly below the 1Mhz areas have yielded interesting findings with relation to HF noise transmission from the ‘0’ volt rails of audio equipment.
Hence our RTZ range of grounding product to help combat unwanted electrical noise in your audio system starting from £1800 for the RTZ a tweleve inlet ground unit these products have the potential to release a much more natural, fluid and relax sound without impeading on the dynamic contrasts with the music.
Improved imaging and staging are also possible along with a lower noise floor. Anyone with a quality system deserves to listen to an RTZ in their own system!
last but by no means least our MC Audio QP-1 ultra linear power supply in various guises and number of rails available, has a rather special ultra low ripple noise in genuine working under conditions measured right at the point of power usage inside the Dac/router/re-cocking device/USB card or PC audio equipment. The QP-1 can be configured to run with just about any piece of audio equipment. This product has taken over three years for ourselves to be completely satisfied with and the results have been more than worth the time spent on this project.
